By accessing this website, registering as a member, or using any service provided by South Indian Social Media Influencer Association (SISMIA), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or association services.

1. About SISMIA

SISMIA is a registered association formed to support, organize, and protect social media influencers through administration, welfare activities, professional guidance, and association-based programs.

These Terms govern the use of:

  • The SISMIA website
  • Membership registration
  • Identity cards
  • Participation in association activities and events
  • Official communications and services

2. Eligibility & Membership

• Membership is open to individuals who meet SISMIA’s guidelines.

• Applicants must provide true, accurate, and complete information.

• Applicants below 18 years of age (minors) must apply only with the consent and details of a parent or legal guardian.

• SISMIA reserves the full right to accept, reject, suspend, or cancel any membership at its discretion.

Providing false, misleading, or impersonated information may result in immediate termination of membership.

3. No Fees Policy

SISMIA clearly states:

  • Membership is completely FREE
  • No joining fee
  • No subscription fee
  • No ID card fee at the time of first issue

SISMIA does not collect money for membership. Anyone collecting money in the name of SISMIA is unauthorized.

4. Member Responsibilities

Members agree:

  • To provide accurate and updated information
  • Not to misuse the SISMIA name, logo, or identity card
  • Not to engage in illegal, harmful, defamatory, or unethical activities
  • To respect the association, its resolutions, office bearers, and members
  • To follow official rules and announcements

Violation may result in suspension or permanent cancellation of membership.

5. Identity Cards

• ID cards are issued only to confirm official SISMIA membership.

• Cards must not be altered, duplicated, transferred, sold, or misused.

• For minors, ID cards are issued strictly based on guardian validation.

• Bringing a valid SISMIA ID card is mandatory for entry into SISMIA-conducted events, meetings, and official programs.

• If an ID card is lost, stolen, or damaged, SISMIA is not obligated to reissue it free of cost. Replacement, if approved, will be subject to association conditions.

• SISMIA reserves full authority to deactivate or cancel any ID card at any time.

6. ID Card Validity, Expiry & Renewal

• All ID cards are issued with a defined validity period.

• Upon expiry, members will be informed through official communication channels.

• Members may choose to continue or cancel their membership after expiry.

• Continuation and issuance of a new ID card will be subject to prevailing association rules.

• Failure to respond or renew may result in inactive membership status.

7. Association Activities & Services

SISMIA may organize or facilitate:

  • Events, programs, and meetings
  • Welfare schemes (including insurance support)
  • Legal and technical guidance
  • Professional networking opportunities

SISMIA functions only as an association and facilitator. It does not guarantee employment, income, brand deals, contracts, or success.

8. Website Usage

Users agree not to:

  • Damage, hack, overload, or misuse the website
  • Upload harmful, false, or illegal content
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent SISMIA
  • Collect data without authorization

SISMIA may modify or discontinue any website service without notice.

9. Communications

By registering or contacting SISMIA, users consent to receive official communications through:

  • WhatsApp
  • Email
  • Phone calls
  • Website notices
  • Official letters

These communications are strictly association-related.

10. Third-Party Services

SISMIA events, welfare schemes, promotions, and technical services may involve third parties. SISMIA is not responsible for third-party actions, services, disputes, or outcomes.

Engagements with third parties are at the member’s discretion.

11. Limitation of Liability

SISMIA shall not be liable for:

  • Personal, professional, or financial losses
  • Member-to-member disputes
  • Third-party services or actions
  • Event-related incidents beyond reasonable control
  • Professional outcomes or opportunities

All services are provided on a best-effort and association-support basis.

12. Termination of Membership or Access

SISMIA reserves the right to suspend or terminate:

  • Website access
  • Membership
  • Identity cards

without prior notice if these Terms, association rules, or laws are violated.

13. Intellectual Property

All website content, logos, branding, designs, and documents are the property of SISMIA. Unauthorized copying, reproduction, or commercial use is prohibited.

14. Changes to Terms

SISMIA may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be published on the website. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
